So I got a call form my grandma today. Guess what she had to say. As an early Christmas gift, she's giving me the money to go buy a scanner!
Now I'm just trying to get a hold of my uncle for a ride >_o He's supposed to be off work today but he's not home T^T I want to go get me a scanner.... *sob sob*
Ah well.
In other news... do any of you remember me mentioning that I am in a Halloween play? Well our first show night was yesterday. It was awesome! Everything went well! ... well other than us all freezing our asses off lol (we do the play outside) but it was super fun. We still have three shows tonight and I am still bloody excited. I love doing this. The whole crew is friendly and fun. It's a total blast! I'm actually sad that after tonight I'm not gonna be around those people anymore T^T February better come quickly so we can all get back together for Follies (they all seem to want me to be in Follies).

Why am I writing this journnal...?
Oh yeah! Updates! Sort of ish...
First on the docket: commissions! All done except for 's. Feel free to harass me to get that done. But with only one commish left to do, I feel much more free. Which brings us to...
The second thing: doujinshi. You may be happy to hear (or just not care at all, that works too) that chapter 7 is complete minus toning. And as for the redraws, they're going well :3 The very first page is completely redone and looks way better than the original. There's also a few more underway, just to show that I'm not completely useless XD
I just have one question. Because I'm doing redraws, some of the paneling and even bits of the story (very minor bits mind you) are subject to change. Meaning, there are going to be a different amount of pages. Okay, so you're probably thinking, that's not a bad thing. Well, it's not. It just means I can't replace the old pages with the new ones, I'd have to upload each redraw as a new deviation and I'm kinda worried that may confuse everyone... I don't know what to do about that...

I am bored so I'm updating my journal

So I'm not getting very far with any kind of drawings An apology to those who commissioned me is an order. My bad. I know I need to get them done >_o I should really start scheduling myself so that I get everything done.
Not to mention I still have that art trade with that I need to finish Oh man, I'm slow... AND (yes, there is more) I have two drawings to do for my dad as well as one for my cousin. And here I am doodling random junk in my notebooks. I fail at prioritizing lol
As for the doujinshi, I started working on some of the redraws... not very much though. I've kinda been ignoring it lately Seriously people, you gotta harass me to finish things!
Ugh, I miss my doujinshi T3T ... I wanna update so bad and I can't. Maybe I'll ask for a scanner for Christmas and then I'll have one for the second semester.

On a completely different note, I'm in a Halloween play my residence is putting on I'm the female lead. .... but that's not really what I wanted to say XD I'm actually doing a drawing that's kinda inspired by it and I'm pretty happy with how it looks so far :3 My drawing style is changing slightly to incorporate the ability to differentiate physical features (mainly facial) and my men are starting to actually look like men! I know! It's a miracle!



Yes, this is a rather pointless journal but it is my one way to still communicate with you guys, and I like talking with you guys :3

Well no scanners are to be found in my school. Suckiness au extrème.
So I'm gonna have to buy one myself... alas I can't do that until I figure out public transit. And yeah.... I don't see that happening anytime soon. Not updating makes me feel so unproductive even though I'm still drawing D=>
Grr...

Oh, and I think I'm gonna redo the first chapter and a half of the doujinshi. Why you ask? Well crappy artwork aside, I can't seem to locate the files for those pages, and I need them if I want to compile it all into a book. My goal was to have it all put together before Christmas.... but lack of scanner kinda kills that hope. I think I'll change my goal to having the redos completely drawn out as well as the rest of chapter 7 by Christmas so that I can scan that all when I go home for the break.

And I also have 3 commissions on my plate. No worries though, they are getting done... sort of XD I have one complete but it needs fixing in PS but ya know, no scanner >3>

On a totally different note... I feel like doing a whole bunch of morbid, creepy photography... but I have no one to help me. My roommate's scared of me and I have no friends yet.
Blah.
I also need to get my license. Not to drive or anything. I just need ID to get into clubs XD lol There's this one club that looks to be putting on something awesome for Halloween. Totally cybergoth inspired *loves cybergoth-ness*

Okay, not I'm going to procrastinate, er I mean do homework.

Well I'm all moved into residence for the college year. The room's a decent size and the roommate is awesome :3 She's relly nice.
Today we had a move-in playday. So just a bunch of activities. We needed to do a canoe race. So of cpurse these three big and\or tough looking guys volunteer to do the paddling. They see the river (gross looking) and find out they have to paddle with their hand and then one opts out and the two start thinking twice. So of course I decided to be the hero and go in the canoe with the two guys. Right near the beginning of the race this huge guy from the other team jumps out of his boat and flips ours. We were soaked!! .... and we had to drag the boat around XD lol Was awesome though. I was the only girl who had the meaphorical balls to do the canoe race so a bunch of people cheered me on. I proved I am not a pansy!!! ... everyone else there is though XD
Okay that was the highlight of my day.

I still have no information on scanner usage at the college so updates are still off. And that makes me sad because I drew this awesome pic of Yami yesterday D: I'm so proud of it and want to show you guys.
